Seed Potatoes have started to trickle into the store. Right now we have the Norland Red variety. We expect to have most of our potatoes in the store by the third week of February.

Home for Haiti
Home for Haiti is our campaign to raise enough money this year to build one orphan home in Haiti through the Global Orphan Project. This home will be similar to the one built by Isabelle and will be able to house eight to ten orphans. The cost of one house is $5,000. You can donate to our Home for Haiti fund at the Nursery. No donation is too small and 100% of your donation goes directly to building our orphan home. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of children in Haiti.

I can't believe February is already here, and before you know it, spring will be here in full force. As some of you may know, winter tends to be slow around the nursery. But not this year. We have been remodeling the inside of the store and moving things around outside on the lot. Also we have been searching for new products this year. Boy, let me tell you that there is a lot out there to look at and purchase. We have started receiving several new products in this week.
Remember: March is the month to treat your yard with pre-emergent. You ask: What is Pre-Emergent? Pre-emergent is applied before temperatures warm up to prevent weeds from germinating. It basically gives your yard a blanket that stops weeds. So come in and pick up your Pre-emergent today!
The March newsletter will have updates on new products and plant varieties that we will be bringing into the store. Thanks again to all who follow us through the newsletter!
